Child Passenger Safety

HCHPH has THREE certified car seat safety technicians that can check any child’s  carseat is properly installed and fitted to the child. They will also check that there are no recalls on the seat, the seat is not expired, and provide education on the importance of car seat safety and the Iowa law.

HCHPH also has special needs seat technicians and will make every effort to help with special needs car seat safety accommodations.
